Sandra Alberts, born and raised in Chile South America
I have been interested in art from childhood, drawing and painting have been my favorite pass time. My father showed me how to use his camera and yes, I have never stopped.
I have a degree in Commercial Industrial Photography. I have worked in editorial, portrait and commercial photography. While working in the commercial field in the early 1990’s, I became interested in digital media. By using digital media I can combine my two passions, photography and painting into one. Photography fine art.
Painting digitally over photographs allows me to express my interpretation of the moment, through the use of colors, light, textures, transparencies and brush strokes made by hand. These unique creations are use in advertising agencies to promote products and events. I like to take an ordinary moment and make it into a memorable piece of art.
I like to work on creative portraiture, spending a fair amount of time with the client is to me the key to a good representative portrait of their lives in that moment.
I have lived in Howell since 2000. I love the quiet life of the country observing wild life and human interaction.
In the last 10 years I have been dedicated to my three sons and home. I have learned how to appreciate baby, children and family photography. In the last 4 years I have been working with families, babies, children, and pets. Digitally painting mostly oils.
